The Growth Value Of The Textile Industry Increased By 16.1% In The First Four Months

The National Bureau of Statistics recently announced that in April, the added value of manufacturing above designated size increased by 10.3%; from January to April, the added value of manufacturing above designated size increased by 22.2%. In April, 37 of 41 major industries maintained year-on-year growth in added value. In April, the value added of the textile industry above designated size increased by 2.5%; from January to April, the value added of the textile industry above designated size increased by 16.1%.

In terms of products, in April, 445 products out of 612 products increased year-on-year. In April, 3.4 billion meters were clothed, a year-on-year increase of 9.0%; from January to April, 11.7 billion meters were clothed, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%. In April, chemical fiber was 5.83 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%; from January to April, chemical fiber was 21.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.1%.
