TPR material (Thermo-Plastic-Rubber material) is a thermoplastic rubber material. It is a kind of thermoplastic soft rubber that has rubber elasticity and does not need vulcanization, and can be directly processed into molding (such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.).
TPR material is based on thermoplastic styrene butadiene rubber (such as SBS, SEBS) as the basic raw material, adding resin (such as PP, PS), fillers, plasticizers and other functional additives to blend modified materials.
Specific gravity 0.85~1.20, shrinkage rate 1.5~3%; Baking material: For some special products that require baking before processing, it is recommended to bake the material for 2 hours at 60~80℃; recommended injection temperature: SBS substrate 130~190℃; SEBS substrate 120~250℃. Because the hardness and physical properties of TPR material have a wide adjustment space, the processing temperature of the material presents a larger range. For details, please consult the TPR material supplier. For the same material, the extrusion temperature of TPR material can be 30~40℃ lower than the injection temperature. In addition to single-material injection and extrusion processing, TPR material can be overmolded by two-shot injection molding, or two-color injection molding, and hard rubber PP, ABS, PC, PC/ABS, PA, PS, PE compound injection molding, or molding with metal materials. For over-injection of different hard rubber materials, TPR materials with different formulations and physical properties should be selected according to customer requirements.
