Xiamen Port opens the 15th new international liner route this year

Up to now, Xiamen Port has 107 international routes, reaching 142 ports in 50 countries around the world.

Today (November 5), as the Hong Kong-registered container ship "SITC Licheng" successfully berthed at Haitian Terminal, Xiamen Port ushered in the 15th new international liner this year.

It is reported that the route is mainly operated in Northeast Asia-China-Southeast Asia, calling at ports in RCEP countries such as Busan in South Korea, Xiamen in China, Singapore, Klang in Malaysia, and Laem Chabang in Thailand.

Shipping companies such as SITC International, Korea Shipping, Yangming Shipping, and ONE have invested a total of 4 ships to operate the route.

In recent years, Xiamen Port has taken various measures. Customs, maritime affairs, border inspections and related units have improved the business environment of the port from multiple dimensions, attracted cargo and cargo, and continued to encrypt the route network. Up to now, Xiamen Port has 107 international routes, reaching 142 ports in 50 countries around the world.

It is understood that the first ship "SITC Licheng" to operate the new route is expected to stop at Xiamen Port for more than 10 hours. Commodities exported from China will be shipped to countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" through this ship.

In addition, in order to ensure the efficient operation of ships, the "SITC Licheng" ship also adopted the "Silk Road Maritime" weather navigation service for the first time. This means that the "Haifeng Licheng" wheel has "brighter eyes" on the vast ocean, and will be more sensitive to weather and ocean changes.
